Sarah strives to create a confidential, safe, empathic, and non-judgmental space for clients, working collaboratively with every client and customizing each session and approach to fit individuals’ goals and needs throughout therapy.
Sarah is fluent in both English and Arabic languages.
Sarah employs an integrative approach combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), holistic counseling, Islamic Counselling, positive psychology, ACT, MBSR, and mindfulness-based techniques among other approaches to customize client support plans.
Sarah has +7 years of background in Mental health and Community Services and experience working with a wide range of clients including youth aged 10+, adults, family, and couples experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, relationship struggles, harmony, interpersonal issues, settlement issues, high risk, identity crisis, and culture shock.
