Frequently asked questions
Are chiropractors actually safe?
Chiropractic adjustment is safe when it’s performed by someone trained and licensed to deliver chiropractic care. In Ophysio, the chiropractors are well trained and certified by their regulatory organization. In addition, they receive extra training in the clinic for pt care and customer service to provide the highest quality of pt care.
When chiropractor is prohibited?
The adjustment is contraindicated in conditions such as advanced osteoporosis, spinal or joint fusion, joint instability and dislocation, pre-existing spinal damage, tumor, acute infection vertebrobasilar insufficiency, etc. No worries, Ophysio chiropractor will do a thorough assessment to exclude any contraindication and to determine how he/she can help you the best.
What is the cracking sound associated with the manibulation?
The “cracking sound” you feel during chiro adjustment is completely safe and normal. This is caused by small pockets of air or bubbles, which are in the fluid that surrounds your joints. When joint tissues are stretched during a chiropractic adjustment, the pockets of air “pop,” which creates that cracking sound you hear.
Does OHIP cover chiropractic?
Unfortunately, chiropractic services are no longer covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP). But covered with most of the private insurance plans and no referral needed.

Amazing Treatment
Ophysio clinic is relatively new, but my experience was great. I did TMG treatment for my jaw. Dr.Omnia is very good and if i recall she told me she has a Phd and 25+ experience. The treatment was amazing and unique than other physio i have been to, and Dr.O actually explains everything so i feel comfortable and understand how each treatment is benefiting me. Would definitely continue doing my physio here and recommend everyone to come here and no one else.
